Patch Tuesday – security patches from Microsoft and Adobe

As usual, Microsoft and Adobe have used the second Tuesday in a month to release security updates of their products. Microsoft has issued nine updates, two of them marked as critical. A cumulative patch for Internet Explorer fixes several vulnerabilities allowing for remote code execution if user visits malicious site. The second critical update fixes remote code execution vulnerability in Windows Media Center.

Adobe has fixed eight vulnerabilities in Adobe Flash Player, AIR, Reader and Acrobat. Updates for Flash Player, Reader and Acrobat are marked by top priority.
