The Intercept and Danish newspaper Dagbladet have published articles based on recent leaked Snowden’s documents. They detail system RAMPART-A eavesdropping on overseas fiber cables by the NSA and partner organizations. This way, the NSA gets access to three TB of data every second. Apparently cooperation of partner organizations from the countries hosting end points of overseas cables and the thirteen RAMPART-A sites is crucial for such system. The identity of these countries has not been disclosed but Germany and Denmark probably belong to them.
