Naoki Hiroshima has described how he lost his Twitter account with a premium name @N. The attacker was able to get last four digits of Hiroshima’s credit card by phone from the PayPal support and which was enough to get access to Hiroshima’s GoDaddy account hosting several webpages. He than demanded credentials to the @N Twitter account in order to return the stolen GoDaddy access. The result of the whole issue is not very favorable for Hiroshima. While GoDaddy admitted some responsibility, PayPal denies helping the hacker in any way and Twitter stated that it has no proof that Hiroshima was a true owner of the @N account.
