FireEye have analyzed the process of dealing with personal data of popular mobile game Angry Birds. It found out that the data of users who registered at the website of Angry Birds producer Rovio, are commonly shared with the ad serving companies via ad mediation platform Burstly. The personal data include full name, date of birth, e-mail address and country of residence. Moreover, such data are stored either in plain text of in easily decrypted formats. Rovio denies any wrongdoing and claims that it’s conduct is not different from most other software producers.
